Custom artwork intro
Want something exclusive for your kicks only or are you an artist who'd like to participate and earn some royalties? Upload your artwork to Sneakart. Select to go 'private' and we will print it only for you. If you want to showcase your designs and make money then choose to go 'public'.
Create a design that fits roughly on letter or A4 sized paper, this can be done on your computer or you can scan in a drawing or painting or upload a photo.
Your artwork must be:
- 29cm x 22cm (11 ½ x 8 ¼ inches)
- A high resolution JPEG image.
- At least 150dpi and up to 300dpi.
- CMYK colour formatted.
Please note: if you upload an image taken from the web this will be at 72dpi and will not print well.
Follow the artwork creation tutorials to create your own sneakskin design. At the moment we produce only pattern sheets, however, you can still create sticker icons on a pattern sheet, all you have to do is cut them out with scissors. (If we love your design we may ask you if we can make it into pre-cut stickers.)
We think creative design deserves to be rewarded. If you go public, each time your design is bought we'll credit your account with 10% of the sale price. You can either use this credit to make further Sneakart purchases or ask us to send the payment to you directly. Please note that the only way we can do this is if you have a PayPal account. We will make direct payments to you quarterly once the credit in your account exceeds £25 or the equivalent in other currencies. Spread the word about your work and Sneakart and you’ll be able to earn more.
Make sure that your design is your own creation. Copyright is how creative people get recognised and paid and if you're uploading your own design that could be you! Make sure you read all the bits about copyright at the end of terms & conditions. It's simple, if you want us to make something designed by someone else you have to make sure you have their permission. If you've designed it and you own the copyright make sure you tell us.
Pattern Sheet Guidelines
Your artwork can be created with any software but it must be uploaded as a JPEG in landscape format with dimensions of 29cm ×22cm or 11 ½ x 8 ¼ inches.
We recommend a resolution of 300dpi. If a file is under 150dpi it will not print clearly and maybe pixelated. We also recommend using CMYK colour format. For more info please reference our tutorial for more details. Upload your artwork here.
